There were 848 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.09 billion and HK$1.67 billion, or 7.14% and 5.7% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 49% and 17.6% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$1.23 billion and HK$977.85 million of short sales, accounting for 4.19% and 3.33% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 13.31% and 9.95% of respective stock's turnover.
