There were 857 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.23 billion and HK$2.97 billion, or 8.97% and 8.25% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 40.67% and 36.37% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.06 billion and HK$894.9 million of short sales, accounting for 2.95% and 2.48% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 12.61% and 14.64% of respective stock's turnover.
