There were 779 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.81 billion and HK$662.86 million, or 13.36% and 4.9% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 22.72% and 25.21% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$655.04 million and HK$538.5 million of short sales, accounting for 4.84% and 3.98% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 19.57% and 51.76% of respective stock's turnover.
